Where cranes are integrated into the PEB structure, AEW Fabricators' scope typically includes the crane brackets and crane runway beams required to support the crane system. Complete crane details and loading information are required for the structural design, engineering, and estimation of buildings incorporating crane systems.
Intermediate mezzanine floors can be incorporated into PEB buildings over full or partial areas, depending on the required usage and design loading eg. offices, storage areas, production spaces, and utility platforms.
Mezzanine floors generally consist of chequered plates or galvanized decking sheets supported by secondary joists connected to the main mezzanine beams. The main beams typically span across the width of the building, while the joists run along the length of the building to provide an efficient and stable floor system.
Where required, a reinforced concrete slab can be cast over the galvanized decking sheet. The concrete slab and related civil works are not included in AEW Fabricators' supply scope.
